Kaolin / Clay
Kaolin is a naturally produced clay.(Mineral name: Kaolinite Chemical composition:Al2O3・2SiO2・2H2O)
In Georgia, USA, they produce high quality Kaolinite from one of the biggest deposit, and they are manufacturing kaolin under strict quality control, and their products known as "Georgia Kaolin".
Kaolin can be divided into two types depend on production method, wet ground Kaolin, calcined Kaolin.

Pagodite clay
Pyrophyllite (Chemical composition:Al2O3・4SiO2・H2O) called pagodite that are produced organically is raw materials of pagodite clay.
Pagodite clay is quite different from Kaolin / Clay about its original crystal structure and composition.
Pagodite clay can be divided into two types depend on production method, wet clay, dry clay.
