U-CAL SSS is a ground calcium carbonate that is made by finely pulverizing limestones produced naturally.
Using high quality limestone mined from our company's mine as raw materials, we are manufacturing U-CAL SSS under special and strict control.
U-CAL SSS has been using for many foods as a calcium enrichment.

"CALNEX" series are using only calcium carbonates that meet the specification and standards for food additives as main agents.
Our food grade calcium carbonate "CALNEX" series products are so fine particle and easy to disperse that it rarely precipitate in beverages like milk beverages.
It scarcely affects a taste and a flavor of foods itself, so that "CALNEX" series products can be used for various foods for calcium enrichment.
Calcium is playing important role for keeping a human life, but it is rather difficult to take enough calcium (650mg - 800mg of calcium per day in Japan) from general foods.
